U.S. flag flown to the moon on the Apollo 17 mission in December 1972. Flag is affixed to a NASA certificate to NASA engineer Jon H. Brown reading, ''This flag was carried to the Moon aboard the spaceship America / Apollo XVII December 7-19, 1972''. Flag measures approximately 5.625'' x 4.25'' and certificate measures 14'' x 11'', framed to 14.75'' x 11.75''. Some glue showthrough on flag, else near fine. Rare U.S. flag from America's last lunar mission.
