United States flag flown to the moon on the Apollo 12 mission, presented to NASA Flight Controller Edward Beatty, with his Apollo 12 NASA badge included as provenance. Flag measuring 5.5'' x 3.75'' is affixed to board reading ''This flag was carried to the moon by the crew of Apollo 12 / November 19, 1969 Ocean of Storms''. Board measures 9'' x 12'' and matting measures 12.5'' x 15.5''. Light toning to board and approximate 2.5'' x 2'' incision to board at edge of flag, which mostly covers it. Flag size is slightly irregular. Overall very good condition.
