U.S. flag flown on Apollo 17 in 1972, the last Apollo mission. Flag is displayed in its NASA issued frame, with a certificate issued to Roger B. Gaskins, an Apollo Instrumentation Engineer, reading in part, ''This flag was carried around the moon by the Apollo 17 Astronauts December 10-14, 1972''. Flag measures 5.5'' x 4'' and framed display measures 12'' x 15''. Flag is beautifully preserved with no discoloration. Overall in near fine condition.
