Printed ''gold stripe'' and ''green stripe'' membership cards from Bruce Lee's first U.S. martial arts school, the Jun Fan Gung Fu Institute (translated to ''Bruce Lee's Kung Fu''). In 1959 Lee began teaching martial arts in the United States while an undergrad at the University of Washington, founding his first school, Jun Fan Gung Fu in Seattle. This evolved into his most well-known school of martial arts, ''Jeet Kune Do'', which he founded in 1967. Front of both cards has ''Jun Fan Gung Fu Institute'' printed in both English and Chinese. Also with a red and gold yin/yang symbol defining the school's philosophy, ''Using No Way As Way / Having No Limitation As Limitation''. Gold card measures 3.75'' x 2'' and green card measures 3'' x 2''. Creasing to both and abrasion on front of green card. Overall very good condition.
