Larry Fine of The Three Stooges autograph letter signed. From his retirement at the Motion Picture home in Woodland Hills, CA, he writes to a local fan regarding an early order of his autobiography ''Stroke of Luck.'' It reads in part, ''...as long as a lot of kids got the book and are happy with it, I'm satisfied. That means more to me than a few dollars. Well, if you and the boys can find the time please visit me some time. It will be better if you call and tell me when you are coming, then I'll be sure to be here...Larry Fine''. Envelope is included, postmarked 11 January 1974. Single-page letter measures 6'' x 7.75''. Near fine.
