''The Fall of a Nation: A Sequel to the Birth of a Nation'' by Thomas Dixon with illustrations by Charles Wrenn. D. Appleton & Co.: New York: 1916. First edition runs 362pp. Dixon was an important author in the early 1900s, whose novel, ''Birth of a Nation'' was made into one of the earliest Hollywood films, later criticized for its racism. Slight separation at front hinge and previous owner's stamp to front free endpaper. Very good condition.
