RIAA platinum record for The Jacksons' album ''Destiny'', featuring the hits ''Blame It on the Boogie'' and ''Shake Your Body''. Award was presented to Mick Jackson, songwriter of ''Blame It on the Boogie''. Released in 1978 by Epic Records, ''Destiny'' was the first time that the 5 Jackson brothers had full artistic control on an album, and was Michael's last album with his brothers before recording ''Off the Wall''. 16.75'' x 20.75'' frame includes platinum record, cover art and the RIAA plaque reading, ''Presented to / Mick Jackson, Writer / to Commemorate the Sale of More Than / 1,000,000 Copies of the / Epic Records / Long-Playing Record Album / 'Destiny'''. With a sticker from RIAA framer Creative Glassics on verso. Record label is present but has become unglued from album, otherwise near fine condition. Originally part of Guernsey's 2007 sale of Jackson memorabilia.
