RIAA multi-platinum record for The Jacksons' single ''Shake Your Body (Down to the Ground)'' off their 1978 ''Destiny'' album. Award was presented to Joseph Jackson, patriarch of the Jackson family. Written by Michael and Randy Jackson, ''Shake Your Body'' was the most popular single of ''Destiny'' and achieved top 10 status. 12.75'' x 16.75'' frame includes platinum record and the RIAA plaque reading, ''Presented to / Joseph Jackson / to Commemorate the Sale of More Than / 2,000,000 Copies of the / Epic Records / Single Record / 'Shake Your Body (Down to the Ground)'''. Frame's paper backing is partially ripped, removing framer's label, otherwise near fine condition. Originally part of Guernsey's 2007 sale of Jackson memorabilia.
