Two-piece swim costume owned and worn by the legendary actress Greta Garbo. The reclusive star was only 35 years old when she retired from acting in 1941 at the peak of her stardom. The two-piece swimsuit has a pink and yellow floral pattern set against light blue. The halter top is cotton lining with a hook closure. Swim shorts are size 16. Also included as part of the costume is a matching fabric tie, likely for use as a headband, and an adjustable yellow swim cap with a snap closure. Light wear, near fine.
