Stan Laurel postcard signed, reminiscing about his vaudeville touring days in Portland, Oregon, and also regarding various actors and comedians. Dated 19 February 1964, letter reads in part, ''...Dana Andrews is now President of the S.A.G. Charlton Heston is V.P. Yes, I met Steve Allen, but never Paar, Downs or Carson. (have corresponded with Paar). I played Portland first in I9II, & in I9I2. at the old Empress, we were the last show to appear there, the theatre was torn down the following week (I9I2.) I played later at the Pantages Theatre...[signed] Stan Laurel''. Card measures 5.5'' x 3.25'', with postmark of 19 February on verso. Near fine condition.
