Simon Cameron autograph letter signed, composed from the Senate on 10 December 1867 when Cameron served as U.S. Senator from Pennsylvania. Cameron earlier served in President Lincoln's cabinet as Secretary of War during the Civil War. In this letter, Cameron makes an introduction. Single page letter on bifolium stationery measures 5.125'' x 8.25''. Minor creasing, else near fine.
