Early Sheldon Mayer comic art entitled ''Cooperation of Authorities'' for the strip ''Why Big Brothers Leave Home''. This series would ultimately be penned by ''Scribbly'', Mayer's alter ego who debuted in 1936, but at this time in the early 1930s, it appears that Mayer had already conceived of the idea before he connected it to Scribbly. Signed ''Sheldon Mayer'' at bottom. Sketch on flexible illustration board measures 9.125'' x 8''. Mild toning and light wear, overall in very good to near fine condition.
