Ronald & Nancy Reagan Personally Owned & Used Salad Plate

Salad plate from the personal collection of President Ronald and Nancy Reagan, owned and used by them at their Bel Air, California home. Off-white plate is from the storied Italian firm of Richard Ginori, which was founded in 1735 and originally known as the Doccia Porcelain Manufactory by Marchese Carlo Ginori; now known as Richard Ginori, the firm was acquired by Gucci in 2013. Plate was originally sold at Christie's in New York and retains Christie's lotting sticker. Crescent shaped plate measures 9'' at the widest point. Near fine condition. Accompanying photo shows the President and Nancy sharing birthday cake on a plate from this service.
