Cup and saucer from the personal collection of President Ronald and Nancy Reagan, owned and used by them at their Bel Air, California home. Off-white set is from the storied Italian firm of Richard Ginori, which was founded in 1735 and originally known as the Doccia Porcelain Manufactory by Marchese Carlo Ginori; now known as Richard Ginori, the firm was acquired by Gucci in 2013. Cup and saucer were originally sold at Christie's in New York and both retain Christie's lotting stickers. Saucer measures 6'' in diameter and cup measures 2'' high. Cup has hairline fracture to interior, barely visible from exterior of cup; otherwise set is in near fine condition.
