Photo comes with typewritten letter signed by Strom Thurmond, U.S. Senator for 46 years, thanking Smith for his assistance in August of 1966. Also comes with original brown envelope from U.S. Senate office. Photo measures 8'' x 10''. Very minor creasing, minor curling and small blue dot of ink to photo, else near fine.
