President Richard Nixon signed first edition, third printing of his political tome ''The Real War'' published by Warner Books: New York: 1980. Nixon signs on the half title page, ''To Marty Cummitz / With best wishes from / Richard Nixon''. Authored by Nixon five years following his resignation, he writes that World War III between the U.S. and the Soviet Union has begun: ''We are at war.'' Includes original dust jacket. Runs 341pp. and measures 6.25'' x 9.5''. Volume is in fine condition. Unclipped dust jacket shows toning and light wear, else near fine.
