Herbert Hoover autograph letter signed. Upon Waldorf-Astoria stationery, letter reads in full, ''My Dear Mrs. Anthony, Herewith is a good luck token that I have had for 20 years. It works pretty well. As I don't need it for very long I would like somebody like you who has still a long ways to go to have it. Yours, Herbert Hoover''. Single-page letter on a sheet of card-style stationery measures 5.5'' x 6.75''. The date of 21 December 1950 has been added to the bottom of the letter, likely by the recipient, whose reply letter to Hoover is also included. Creasing and adhesive residue to verso, else near fine.
