Rare prop Academy Award used during the Academy Award ceremonies during the 1940's, made to look like its metal counterpart and painted in shimmery bronze. The black base is wooden rather than marble and bears no identifying plaques. Measures 13.5'' in height and 5'' in diameter at the base. Weighs 1 pound, 14 ounces. Evidence of green felt backing remains on the underside. Cracking and scattered scratching to base, with some adhesive residue, else very good.
