Texas Welcome Dinner program from 22 November 1963. John F. Kennedy was the intended guest of honor at the Austin event, the night of his assassination. Governor John Connally was also slated to speak at the event and was seriously injured in the shooting. Single page program features photos of JFK, Connally and Vice President Lyndon B. Johnson. Measures 8.5'' x 14''. Mild foxing and toning, else fine.
