Producers Guild of America award trophy from 1992, honoring Fred De Cordova, producer of the ''Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson''. Award features a large medal reading, ''The Producers Guild of America'', flanked by laurel sprigs and affixed to a glossy black cube base. Plaque on the front of the base reads, ''The / David Susskind / Television / Lifetime Achievement Award / Fred De Cordova / 1992''. This same year, Johnny Carson was honored with the Presidential Medal of Freedom and the following year, a Kennedy Center Honor. The show aired for thirty years as a fixture of entertainment in America. Accompanied by a DVD of the 10th Annual PGA awards. Trophy measures 9'' in height, with 5'' diameter medal. Base measures 5'' x 4'' x 5''. Weighs a hefty 11 pounds 14 ounces. With Thomas Benton manufacturer's sticker to underside. Chipping to base finish at right rear upper corner, else fine.
