President William Howard Taft signed photo. Here, Taft poses stoically in a suit. Signed in black ink along the bottom mat, ''Very Sincerely Yours / William H. Taft''. With Presidential photographer George Prince's ''N2 / Copyright 1908 / By Geo. Prince'' marking at lower right. Verso also has a George Prince notation allowing permissions for media reproductions of the photo. Matte photo measures 7.25'' x 10'' with a small, enclosed .75'' tear to lower right edge. Some silvering. Overall very good.
