Postcard from the Pan-American Exposition in Buffalo, New York, postmarked from Buffalo on 6 September 1901 at 1:00 pm, three hours before President McKinley's assassination shooting in the city. McKinley was shot in Buffalo while greeting the public on the Exposition fairgrounds. Postcard also has a pencil note on verso, ''Pan American / 9/6/1901 Will see President McKinley today''. Postcard measures 5.5'' x 3.25''. Some discoloration, creasing, and foxing, overall in very good condition.
