Large 11'' x 8.5'' photo signed by 17 soldiers of ''Easy Company'', the paratroopers of the 101st Airborne Division, famously profiled in ''Band of Brothers'', who heroically led Allied forces into Utah Beach on D-Day. Photo shows the company at the Battle of Carentan awards ceremony on 20 June 1944, shortly after the pivotal city was taken by them against heavy German assault. By the end of the battle on 14 June 1944, the company had lost nearly half the men it began with at the start of the Normandy invasion.

Glossy photo is signed by Company Commander Dick Winters, who also writes his motto, ''Hang Tough'', as well as by Donald Bond, Norm Netzke, Lewis Nixon, Carwood Lipton, Earl Bruce, Norman Dike, Babe Heffron, Joe Toye, Joseph Leibgott, Wild Bill Guarnere, Forrest Guth, Buck Compton, Shifty Powers, Jack Foley, Ed Pepping and Ron Speirs, many of whom also write the their regimental information. Minor edgewear, overall very good to near fine condition.
