People's choice award for the popular television show ''Dynasty'', awarded in 1987. The show won for ''Favorite Nighttime Serial'', the first and only year the category appeared on the popular awards show. The entire cast of the show appeared on stage to accept the award, with star John Forsythe making the acceptance speech on behalf of everyone involved with the production. The heavy glass statue was designed by Swedish designer Olle Alberius for the prestigious Orefors glassware company. ''Orrefors / Olle Alberius / 1987 / No. 3 R.P.'' is etched to the square base of the statue. Top part of the statue features an image of hands clapping within a candle's flame. Weighs 11 lbs. 14 oz. Measures 13.5'' tall and 4'' across the base. Tiny hairline fracture to rear corner of the base, else near fine.
