Pair of Joseph Mugnaini prints from Ray Bradbury's personal collection. The first piece is a silkscreen labeled B4 of 200 prints, meaning Bon a Tirer proof, or the very last trial proof before printing the final edition. Scene is an eerie pair of archways set perpendicular to each other, with a large moon hovering above. Archways stand alone and lead nowhere, surrounded by leafless trees on a red and purple ground. Measures 9.5" x 12.5". The second piece is an offset lithograph titled by hand in pencil, "The Towers for Ray / 2nd proof / Martian Chronicles", designed for the "Ylla" chapter of the 1974 edition of "The Martian Chronicles", published by LEC/Heritage. In it, a building is topped with spires, with several others like it in the background against an orange sky. A black moon eclipses a yellow sun in the distance. Dates to circa 1980. Measures 10.5" x 14.5". Pieces are near fine. With a COA from the Ray Bradbury estate.
