Pablo Picasso signed postcard of his painting, ''Woman in a Rocking-Chair''. Picasso signs the verso, ''Picasso'' in blue felt-tip, with a long flourish under his signature. Postcard is cancelled on 17 October 1970 from Cannes, France, addressed in the hand of Picasso's wife, Jacqueline Roque, to Oscar Gewelt, a musician who corresponded with Picasso, Jean Cocteau and other artists of the time. Measures 6'' x 4.125''. Light foxing, some abrasion to Gewelt's name and two small pieces of tape at top, not affecting signature. Very good condition with a very bold signature.
