Cuban photographer Osvaldo Salas signed photo of Fidel Castro in Central Park in 1955. Castro toured the United States seeking benefactors while in exile from Cuba in 1955, the same year he met Che Guevara. Signed in fountain pen by Salas at lower right above his embossed stamp, and titled by him at lower left, ''Central Park, New York, 1955''. Titled ''Fidel in Central Park'', satin-finish photo measures 20'' x 16''. Some buckling to photo and not examined out of frame, appears in very good plus condition.
