Arlington Valles costume sketch for ''The Gorgeous Hussy'', the 1936 MGM film starring Joan Crawford as Peggy Eaton, the temptress at the heart of the Petticoat Affair which upended the Andrew Jackson administration. Sketch is of Melville Cooper who played Cuthbert in the film. Signed ''Valles'', sketch measures 5.25'' x 15.25'', on Vadun board measuring 15'' x 20''. Valles would win an Academy Award for costume design on the film ''Spartacus''. Very good plus condition.
