Arlington Valles costume sketch from the 1938 film ''A Christmas Carol''. Sketch is of Ronald Sinclair who played ''Young Scrooge'', here seen in his school outfit. Sketch is rendered on 11.75'' x 17.75'' paper, affixed to board measuring 15'' x 20''. Valles would later win an Academy Award for costume design on the film ''Spartacus''. Tear to paper at upper left, otherwise near fine.
