Olympic relay torch used in the 1984 Summer Olympic games in Los Angeles. Torch was made by Turner Industries and features a tan leather handle over brass-finished aluminum. The Los Angles Coliseum is featured on the bowl, with the words ''Citius, Altius, Fortius'', the motto of the Olympic games. Band at mid-section reads, ''Games of the / XXIIIrd Olympiad / Los Angeles 1984''. Torch measures 22.125'' long (not including burner at top) and 4.875'' in diameter at bowl. Housed in original box from Tuner Industries which identifies the torch as serial number 3430. Also includes original black vinyl carrying case, operating instructions and other paperwork. Light wear with discreet bubbling to bronze coating on bowl, overall very good plus condition.
