Nobel Prize winning physicist Wilhelm Wien autograph postcard signed, written from Madrid to his mother in Berlin, with postmark of 1 April 1901. One of the earliest recipients of the Nobel Prize, Wien also founded Wien's displacement law, and developed theories that laid the groundwork for quantum mechanics. Postcard in German measures 5.5" x 3.5". Mild wear, in very good to near fine condition. With translation.
