Neil Armstrong and Scott Carpenter signed book, The First Lunar Landing / As Told by The Astronauts''. The Apollo 11 Commander and Mercury 7 astronaut each sign the first page in blue ballpoint without inscription. Softcover book runs 24pp., filled with photos from the mission, and measures 9'' x 12''. Creasing and discoloration to covers, and with dampstaining to lower edge of pages, not affecting signatures which remain clear and bold. Good condition. With Steve Zarelli Space Authentication for both signatures.

Lot also includes three red number NASA photos from the Apollo 15 mission, including one of Commander Dave Scott saluting the U.S. flag on the moon. With NASA press releases on verso. Photos measure 10'' x 8''. Water damage, mostly confined to margins, photos are in fair condition.
