Datelined St. Cloud on 8 May 1806, document concerns the request of Captain Gallien, aide-de-camp to General Gratien, to resign for medical reasons. Measures approximately 8.25'' x 13'', beautifully framed with an engraving to 21.25'' x 18.5''. Document has shifted within frame, otherwise near fine condition.
