Golden Globe awarded to the producers of television movie "Rasputin" in 1997. Trophy is engraved, "Best Mini-Series / Or Motion Picture / Made For Television / RASPUTIN / 1997 / Hollywood Foreign / Press Association". Award was presented at the 1997 ceremony at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles. The film depicts Russian mystic Rasputin, portrayed by Alan Rickman. Statue is composed of a metal sculpture of a globe encircled by a film strip upon a decorative black pedestal. The letters "HFPA" appear in the metal design beneath the globe. An engraved plaque is mounted to the marble pedestal, which features green felt backing to underside. Measures 11" in height. Square base measures 3.75" x 3.75" at the bottom, while pedestal itself measures 2" x 2". Weighs 4 pounds, 3 ounces. Statue shows a small chip to the base, else fine. With an LOA from "The Rasputin" producer David Kirkpatrick. A spectacular piece of Hollywood history.
