Manuscript reads,
"Boys discovered working for Beer Garden owner (A) who inherited Beer Garden. Legacy provides that under no circumstances must he (A) sell intoxicating liquor and if he does Garden goes to Lena another branch of family (B) under terms of original will.
Boys unknown to owner (A) dispense and sell Beer & wine to customers which is found out by the administration of the estate so that under terms of the will Garden goes to Lena (B) When boys learn of plight they got garden owner (A) into (whom they love). They offer to marry Lena to bring the garden back into the family. Owner (A) hasn't seen Lena (B) since a child and doesn't know what she looks like But shows them a picture of her at age 2 or 3. No one knows who or where Lena is. Finally they meet her she is a gorgeous. They see there is no chance to marry her. But she finally marries handsome prohibition agent who was watching Garden while owned by (A) There is no stipulation that Lena (B) cannot sell intoxicating liquor she does & does terrific business. It is learned that the lawyer for the state neglected to read a clause in the will which stipulates that in the event that Lena marries the Garden who revert Back to [?] (A) which happens when Lena marries Prohibition agent.
During Prohibition boys tell agent in only a few days he'll have to get out. He's only a striker[?] etc. After Ben comes back agent loses position but is hired to watch Garden by the estate to see that (A) complies with terms of will. Agent finally finds out and tells administration that Garden is selling Beer.
When Lena takes place over she fires the boys hires 4 girls who do dance routine which turn out to be the boys.
