"So at the last you've had a fight with Nuss B. well isn't that strange. I could never have believed it possible. Are you laughing fresh! Don't mind it honey. It won't be for long now. Tell her to -- -- Will never mind she'll go there sooner or later anyhow. And as a parting thrust to her tell her these immortal words, 'Tis better to have loved and lost, than never to have loved at all.' I feel sorry for her. I think she needs a man. God help that man. Did Uncle Joe sell Sauger's anything. What did he have to say. I'm anxious to know what he bought if anything. As next week we
Don't go to your office with a face that shows.
You stepped from the side that means worry.
For every one of your office force knows.
That a grouch should be ducked in a hurry.
They'll slight all their work to keep out of your way
And be nervous at sight of your fretting
And another will get for the rest of the day.
The smiles that you aught to be getting.
So don't worry my beansie because of your grouch
Life cannot give in to your wile
And in the morning that follows don't be a slouch
Hop out on the side that means smiles
You cannot afford to climb out of your bed
In a way that will spoil time to follow
For your rivals and foes are a long way from dead
And your triumphs may turn all hollow"
