Lyndon B. Johnson's own leather attache case, with LBJ's initials appearing in script below the handle. This case very likely housed documents pertaining to Johnson's Great Society legislation, a series of landmark bills that reformed education, civil rights, healthcare and the environment. Attache case measures 20" x 13" x 5". Key not included. Overall wear with tarnish to metal surfaces; very good to near fine. A rare piece used by the President who served during one of the most turbulent eras in the United States. With provenance from President Johnson's daughter.
