Lot of two photos taken by David F. Barry related to the Battle of Little Bighorn. First photo shows the steamer ''Far West'', tasked with ferrying the bodies of U.S. soldiers killed at the Battle of Little Bighorn. Photo measures 4.75'' x 7.75'', with Barry copyright stamp embossed at lower right. Second photo is of Major Thomas M. McDougall, who was in command of the pack train during the battle and survived as a result. Photo measures 4'' x 6'', with Barry stamp at lower right. Both photos are mounted to black construction paper. Minor soiling and silvering, overall very good.
