Lot of two Egyptology documents signed by Georges Daressy, the French Egyptologist who successfully translated the Cairo Wooden Tablets. Both documents on Egyptian Government watermarked stationery, from the Antiquities Service, are in Arabic and French text. Signed ''G Daressy'' on both documents, one dated 10 March 1912. Other is undated. Each measures approximately 7'' x 8.75'', one on a single sheet, the other on bifolium stationery. Punch holes on left side, light toning, and wear, overall very good condition.
