Twelve "Dolly Darling" prototype dolls in their original packaging, from the estate of G.I. creator Donald Levine who oversaw the Hasbro design team that developed the Dolly Darling dolls. Four out of the twelve dolls included in this lot were manufactured for Palitoy, the British toy company who licensed the design from Hasbro. The rest were manufactured for Hasbro itself, and bear the company trademark to the top and bottom of each box. Assorted styles of dolls from 1967 come in their original dark green boxes save for one doll which is from 1966 and is housed in a dark pink box. Each box measures 2.5" x 5.5". Minor wear and tear to the packaging, dolls themselves are near fine. From the estate of "G.I. Joe" creator Donald Levine and with a COA from his widow.
