Lot of three photos taken by David F. Barry, the western photographer whose portraits of the Lakota people earned him the nickname ''Little Shadow Catcher'' by the tribe. First two photos are of Buffalo Bill Cody, taken in 1916 according to notes. Each photo measures 3.25'' x 4.25'' mounted on black construction paper, the verso of which displays a photo of Chief Crow King, the Lakota military leader who pursued General Custer with 80 of his men at Little Bighorn. Photo measures 6.5'' x 8.5''. Very good plus condition.
