Ten-piece lot of correspondences, mostly Christmas cards, from the Bing Crosby Family. Most cards feature a family photo of Kathryn, Mary Frances, Harry, Nathaniel and Bing, with printed message from the family. One early card features a photo of Crosby's eldest 4 sons as choir boys, among them Gary Crosby, who wrote a controversial book claiming his father was an abusive parent. 9 Christmas cards are accompanied by an autograph letter signed from Crosby's youngest son Nate mentioning Bing's recovery from his fall offstage into an orchestra pit in 1977. On his personal stationery, Nate's letter to his retiring golf mentor is dated 22 July 1977 and reads in part, ''...Dad is coming along fine, he's playing golf again and should be fully recovered by the end of the year. I'm sure you know how back injuries take so much time to heal...Nate''. Incidentally Nate Crosby became a record-breaking golfer. Cards measure 9.25'' x 11.25'' at largest. Two cards are blank inside and mounted to paperboard; some ink notations, minor toning and wear, else lot is near fine.
