Two Department of Defense identification cards for Redd Foxx, both signed by him. The comedian's photo is affixed to each, with his pose varying slightly from one to the next. To versos are his finger prints and stats including height, blood type and religion. The cards are labeled, ''United States of America Department of Defense / Noncombatant's Certificate of Identity''. Both are dated in type 13 December 1972, just one month before the first airing of ''Sanford & Son'', his hit show that made him a household name. Laminated cards measure 3.75'' x 2.75''. Toning and wear to edges. Very good.
