Lot of one hundred personal checks signed by legendary screen siren Mary Astor. Each check is made out in her hand in the 1970's-1980's and signed ''Mary Astor''. The majority are printed with her name and the address of the famous actor retirement home, Leisure World, located on Mulholland Drive. Over the course of her lengthy career Astor won an Academy Award and performed memorably opposite Humphrey Bogart in 1941's ''The Maltese Falcon.'' Measuring 6'' x 2.75'', checks bear standard cancellations and are in near fine condition.
