Dwight Eisenhower signs ''DE'' as President to a letter typed on White House stationery dated 17 January 1958 to his brother Edgar that reads, ''...Thank you for telling me of Bunny Hobson's comment on the State of the Union Message. By your silence, I gather you did not share Bunny's reaction!...How did you do in the Crosby Tournament? I read considerable about the match in our Eastern papers, but I somehow missed your name...'' A copy of Edgar's letter is included. Measures 7'' x 9''. Punch holes and staple mark to upper left, else near fine.
