Dwight Eisenhower signs ''D.E.'' to a letter typed on White House stationery dated 19 November 1958 to his brother Edgar that reads, ''...I shall bear your comments regarding Judge Bolt in mind when the matter of a replacement for the judge of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals reaches me...'' Edgar had written Dwight advising him against appointing Judge Boldt to the vacant seat. Measures 6.75'' x 9''. Single fold and punch holes, else near fine.
