Kent himself authored the booklet, titled: ''Prospects for the National Intelligence Service''. He also writes on the bottom of the page, ''Beware optimism of last pp. Doesn't hold as well now as at time of composition''. Booklet comprises 15pp. excerpted from the 1946 Yale Review detailing the formation of the CIA and its modus operandi during WWII. Measures 5.5'' x 8.5''. Toning and the faintest creasing, else near fine.
