Dwight Eisenhower signs ''DE'' as President to a typed letter datelined Augusta, Georgia, 19 April 1955 on White House stationery to his brother, whose latest request is for a tour of 10 Downing Street for a friend's group. The letter reads in part, ''Dear Edgar...I shall make inquiries...If my belief that [visitors are not admitted to No. 10 Downing St.] is correct, I would not want to ask for a special dispensation for Mr. Crockwell's group because of the precedent that would be set...'' Measures 7'' x 9''. Creasing, else fine.
