Dwight Eisenhower signs, ''D.E.'' as President to a typed letter dated 16 June 1955 to his brother Edgar, who wrote offering to send fresh-caught Alaskan crab from Washington state to Washington D.C. Dwight writes, ''...Word has reached me at our 'relocation' site that three large Alaskan crabs (cooked) have been received at the White House. Mamie and I are planning to have them for dinner...'' A copy of Edgar's letter is included. The President's letter measures 6.75'' x 8.75''. A single fold and punch holes for filing, else near fine.
