Dwight Eisenhower signs ''DE'' as President to a typed letter on White House stationery marked ''Personal'' and datelined Geneva, 22 July 1955 to his brother Edgar Eisenhower, reading, ''...With respect to the proposed amendment, I note that you have again inserted the three words 'any provision of' that I told you I instinctively feared. If those words were out, I can personally see no danger in the amendment...'' A copy of Edgar's letter in response is included. Measures 6.75'' x 9''. Folds and filing holes, else near fine.
